We provide industry leading technology, and strive to deliver excellent customer service. Cutting & Wear started in 1968 manufacturing hardfacing materials for the oil and gas drilling industry. As the company grew it continued to develop its hardfacing technology and diversified into the manufacture of downhole tools. In 2012 we moved to a new 3 acre site into a purpose built 38,000 sq ft manufacturing facility providing industry leading facilities. We were established in Sheffield in 1968 to supply hardfacing materials to oil and gas operations in the North Sea. The Cutting & Wear team have high end equipment and specialist knowledge offering the best in manufacturing and hardfacing services and an extensive research and development unit which strives to make sure we stay ahead of developments in the market. We were established in Sheffield by Mr Brian Russell in 1968, to supply hardfacing materials to oil & gas operations in the North Sea.
