Data Elevates

We are happy to have help with many tasks, like video design, web design, podcasts, etc. We are also open to collaboration with researchers in environmental/earth sciences and education. We founded the Data Engagement and Access Project in September 2019 to address several interconnected needs: an abundance of low-to-no cost, underutilized data, recent national revision of K-12 curricula, trends in formal and informal education, and heightened awareness of both established and emerging environmental problems. Finally, increasing the visibility and use of publicly-funded data provides greater return on taxpayer investment, and strengthens support for our environmental agencies. Finally, we envision a structure through which DEAP can provide an initial summary of environmental data availability and content for community groups. DEAP intends to support both the Education and Research programs through development and delivery of environmental research experiences.

We are built on partnerships with African governance and in-country expertise to create sustained capability development in Africa. This provides valuable insights for better decision making across many areas, including flooding, drought, soil and coastal erosion, agriculture, forest cover, land use and land cover change, water availability and quality, and changes to human settlements. The Australian Government has committed to providing the technical and operational expertise from Digital Earth Australia (DE Australia). DE Africa will provide a routine, reliable and operational service, using Earth observations to deliver decision-ready products enabling policy makers, scientists, the private sector and civil society to address social, environmental and economic changes on the continent and develop an ecosystem for innovation across sectors. DE Africa will process openly accessible and freely available data to produce decision-ready products. Our user friendly map-based access to DE Africa data and products. We are a network of over 700 private sector, academic and civil society organizations, and governments, with a Secretariat based across eight countries. The Data Values campaign is a global movement to challenge power structures in data to ensure that we all share in the benefits from its collection and use.

SuDevo aims to empower communities with an array of development projects. SuDevo recognizes the importance of monitoring and evaluation for the success of all programs that we passionately undertake. We provide consulting services on a variety of topics. We focus on fulfilling the knowledge gap by offering a wide range of capacity building programs. We believe community participation will be a key aspect of this initiative. We onboard a variety of research projects and allocate subject matter experts in the field who have the technical knowledge to answer critical questions. Our international and regional experts have the competence and knowledge to help overcome challenges.

Data for Impact (D4I) uses innovative methods to generate strong evidence for program and policy decision making. D4I is a six-year cooperative agreement–an associate award of MEASURE Evaluation, which closed in 2020–funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for six years, from September 2018 to December 2024. D4I and our local partners use enhanced analytics, efficient evaluation approaches, and improved presentation and communication of evaluation findings and other data. The project works with countries to increase local organizational and technical capacity and prepare country partners to independently conduct evaluations, analyze data, and use evidence to inform program and policy decisions. We facilitate compelling, user-friendly data visualization to enhance data use for the improvement of global health programs and policies.

We are assiduous about working alongside our partners and providing peerless support. We are connecting communities with technologies that connect data, people, and processes across departments and geographic boundaries. We are committed to the SDGs with a focus on ending poverty, achieving gender equality, ensuring healthy lives, and ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education. We are part of a multi-country partnership that is building a Data Hub to support and promote quality data-driven journalism and in turn, facilitate an evidence-based decision-making climate, inflation, health and gender issues.
