Today FlexEnable® has over 500 patents and patent applications globally for OTFT and LC cell materials, processes and architectures that are already redefining where active surfaces are used in our lives. With its origins in the University of Cambridge’s Cavendish Laboratory, FlexEnable’s technology began with a focus on replacing silicon on glass in large-area electronics with organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) on flexible substrates.
