The company starts manufacturing and selling industrial equipment. Transport frames for the automotive industry are a key product. The product range is expanded to include simple, automated welding solutions and is purchased by Klaus Schülein, following the unexpected death of Georg Fohrer. Construction of the first longitudinal seam welding system, LNA, which becomes a frequently sold product within the German market during the years following the fall of the Berlin Wall. Over the following years, a process of standardisation takes place as the company undertakes a large number of customer projects. Design and construction of an automatic welding line for the manufacturing of airbag cold gas generators, featuring four interlinked welding stations.
