Our story begins with our parent company, House Foods Japan – the largest manufacturer of spices in Japan. House Foods Japan opens a sales office in Los Angeles, introducing Japanese-style curry products to curious American palates. Millions of blocks of tofu later, we open a new manufacturing facility in Garden Grove, CA, allowing us to increase our production. Now, the freshest tofu could be delivered to the East Coast, Midwest and Southeast. To promote environmentally friendly manufacturing, we install a photovoltaic solar electric system at our California facility.
