Before acting as GliaPharm’s co-CEO, Dr.Lengacher has been a research director at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland) for over 10 years. GliaPharm was created in 2016 as a company built on three decades of research, performed in the laboratory of Prof. We are taking the work of decades on the role of glial cells in brain function and health for the benefit of patients suffering challenging disorders. GliaPharm is located at Campus Biotech in Geneva, Switzerland. Sylvain Lengacher is a molecular biologist and has over 20 years of experience in the field of neuroscience research, biotechnology management, and technology transfer. Charles Finsterwald is a neuroscientist with expertise in molecular, cellular and cognitive neuroscience. François Jenck is a Neuropharmacologist with 25+y R&D leadership experience in Translational Neuropharmacology at Idorsia (startup), Actelion (biotech), Organon-AKZOnobel (mid pharma) and Roche (big pharma); since 2018 at Axl.neuro as independent R&D advisor for accelerating Neuroscience applications in 2020-Healthcare Biotechs. Dr Lowe has broad experience in CNS drug discovery, translational medicine and product development, generating diverse clinical candidates in psychiatry, neurology and pain that moved into clinical trials and the market.

Jason has managed roles of increasing responsibility in operations (Pharmaceutical Production Management), sales & marketing (Specialist Medical Representative, Product Management, Sales & Marketing Management & Business Unit Director) and business development (Early Product Development Lead, Associate Director of Market Access, Associate Director of Asia Regional Business Development and Business Licensing & Acquisition). Jim has over 30 years of experience as a finance executive with publicly listed and private multi-national businesses. Mr Molloy has 25 years of experience creating, advising and investing in private and public companies, with a particular focus on the healthcare sector. Michael Silverman, MD serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Tryp. Michael has over 30 years of experience in clinical development in biotech including product development strategy, clinical/regulatory planning and operations, business strategic analysis and planning, and technical assessment and recommendations. Jim is a co-author on several manufacturing and formulation patents and has been featured in journal articles on novel therapeutic peptides and their clinical utility. While at Curia, Pete developed products and intellectual property in the areas of CNS, oncology and gastrointestinal diseases. Pete co-founded and served as CEO at ConSynance Therapeutics, a clinical-stage drug development company pursuing treatments for rare diseases.
