LIGENTEC is your partner for low loss Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC). Based on our all-nitride-core technology, we provide customer specific, integrated photonic circuits. LIGENTEC is a spin-off from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and started based on the ground-taking work of the laboratory of Professor Kippenberg on low loss silicon nitride for non-linear applications. Today, LIGENTEC offers a technology portfolio for silicon-nitride based Photonic Integrated Circuits from the visible to the infrared for linear and non-linear optical processing in applications such as communication, autonomous driving, quantum computing, metrology, biomedical and more. LIGENTEC headquarters are located at Lausanne, Switzerland with a subsidiary in France close to Paris.
