Lumito specialises in medical technology for digital pathology and aims to improve tissue diagnostics with its patented technology. Lumito is a spin-off from a research team at Lund University’s Division of Atomic Physics and Laser Centre and is planning to initially launch its product SCIZYS for research laboratories. These images shorten turnaround time and provide higher-quality data for analysis. Their research launched what would later become Lumito AB. An innovative product with patented technology that provides users with high-quality tissue images with enhanced contrast and granularity compared to traditional immunohistochemistry (IHC). Scanning the tissue sample and image delivery: Our scanner scans the tissue sample in high resolution after adjusting the settings. The resulting images are then delivered and made available for analysis in an image viewer.
