Major Tech was founded in 1992 with its focus on developing its own brand of Test & Measuring instruments, a first for South Africa. From its humble beginnings Major Tech has become synonymous with innovation and quality throughout its product range. Major Tech is heavily committed to product research and allocates significant resources to an ongoing research program. The success of Major Tech and their experience in developing unique products assisted the company in developing meters and test tools for South African electricians, but in recent years we now attract customers from all over the globe. Recently introduced is the low cost MTi11 Thermal Imager which meets the needs of the independent electrician, helping solve possible problems in DB boards and connections. Software has become an integral part of measuring tools for users, and in recent times we have introduced Bluetooth to many of our meters, this allows data and measurements to be transmitted to the free App for both iOS and Android devices. Major Tech has been exporting limited products to Australia over the years, however we are confident that there will be a demand for our full product range offering.
