Measurement Technology Laboratories LLC

Measurement Technology Laboratories (MTL) was founded in 1996 to develop state of the art metrology systems for the measurement of mass, density (solid and liquid), and temperature, primarily using LabVIEW™ software. MTL was uniquely positioned to measure these very small quantities and therefore provided the industry with a highly accurate, highly automated system for weighing these filters. Particulate filters used in ambient air quality monitoring are also used by engine manufacturers to quantify particulate in engine exhaust. EPA’s National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory in Ann Arbor, MI; the California Air Research Board; Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department; Environment Canada; and the United Kingdom’s National Physical Laboratory. MTL now stands as the global expert in PM2.5 measurements.
