The team behind Metaspectral began their startup journey as the creators of PixelDrive, a cloud storage platform that compressed and optimized any uploaded photo. Metaspectral builds on years of in-house research in spectral data compression capability, as well as numerous work by organizations such as the MPEG consortium and the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS). Metaspectral's Fusion platform makes it a breeze to run AI models on hyperspectral or multispectral data and gain actionable insights. Based in gorgeous Vancouver, BC, we are a tight-knit team pushing the boundaries of Computer Vision. After receiving the title of “real-life Pied Piper” by NVIDIA, Metaspectral was approached by Defense and Space industries searching for efficient compression solutions for multispectral and hyperspectral data, and the foundations of Metaspectral were laid.
