Onward’s development efforts have continued with focus primarily to the design and delivery of wireless telecommunications infrastructure technologies in a cost sensitive and socially responsible manner. An aerostat is a lighter-than-air vehicle that is tethered to the ground and gains its lift through use of buoyant gases such as helium. This is largely attributable to established service providers inability or unwillingness to commit funds required to buildout infrastructure into unserved areas. Onward’s patented systems can cost effectively operate as an independent network, as a network extender for incumbents as well as a last mile connectivity for low earth orbiting satellite systems and stratospheric programs. Whether guarding sovereign borders, supporting military missions or engagement with state and local law enforcement aerostats have long been employed to support various programs. Onward’s patented systems can provide valuable enhancement to such programs by extending each system’s flight time at its ideal altitude for up to six months, thereby enabling more effective management cycles, and thereby eliminating the predictability of their down time when missions are most vulnerable. Onward offers opportunity to qualified companies and individuals with knowledge and experience in telecom network design, network expansion, security/surveillance projects, and system integration to partner or otherwise collaborate with Onward for market introduction and implementation of its patented systems.
