We are translating decades of ground-breaking research from the University of Oxford into useable tools and products for application in industry and the environment worldwide. In parallel we are developing a portable device which will enable our customers to use the biosensors on site and in remote locations, with data relayed wirelessly. The first step in addressing this issue is the detection of these contaminants, which combined with our mathematical models can offer valuable insights into sources, sinks and impacts of pollution and help advise on clean-up strategies. In light of the issues facing the water industry today, we are offering a range of products and services based around whole-cell biosensor technology; sensing cells able to detect toxicity, heavy metals, antibiotics and many more pollutants with greater sensitivity than ever before. Currently we offer lab-based services for numerous industries; detecting environmental and industrial pollution, identifying degradation pinch-points, toxicity at both a cellular and genetic level, as well as data analysis and consultation for contamination remediation strategies.
