Techserv was formed in 1986 to maintain profile cutting machines, since then we have expanded into a multi disciplined engineering company. What sets Techserv apart in terms of manufacturing is the use of modern manufacturing methods to make our machines. Techserv do very little welding, very little grinding and very little of the old manual labour type processes. Techserv machines tend to be lower cost than most of the competition in the UK. We specialise in the manufacture of Plasma, Gas and Waterjet cutting machines, designing both the mechanics and the CNC systems. Leveraging our portfolio of designs gives us a head start in manufacturing special purpose or bespoke machines for our customers along side our standard range of CNC plasma, gas and waterjet cutting tables. Manufacturing cutting machines becomes more of an assembly process where we’ll cut a sheet of aluminium on the water-jet, with minimum wastage, we then powder coat and assemble. A good example is the Blue Marlin, its cutting bed is laser cut and folded with key slots.
