The first iteration of Harbinger™’s design (our flagship product) focused solely around drones, and grouping them into battalions (as you can see from our first corporate video here). Ty is a Navy Veteran with over 24 years of experience in the drone industry; designing, building, and piloting drones. Dana is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and mentor to startups. Tempest is a software company, and has built – and is continuing to build our ecosystem of drone manufacturers and partners enabling us to build the right system to fit our clients’ needs. Based in Houston, Texas; Tempest Droneworx™ is dedicated to preventing issues from becoming problems. By putting real-time intelligence into the hands of organizations, Tempest’s mission is saving lives, resources, and eliminating environmental hazards. Our flagship product, Harbinger™ agnostically gathers data at virtually any scale and presents that data in easy to understand visualizations using a video game engine. The end result is a familiar interface requiring little-to-no training.

Established in 2019 we have harnessed the expertise from a wide range of specialists. This includes former serving Military and Police personnel, industrial designers and electronics and communications experts. This is all supported by an integrated COFDM microwave transmission module with all the video and data transmitted to a fully functional ergonomic hand-held receiver unit. The HECATE K9 camera is the first to offer daylight, infrared and thermal images transmitted in real time back to the dog handler. A talkback feature provides the ability to relay commands in addition to listening via a front facing loudspeaker and microphone. Key is the FLIR® thermal imaging camera (which represents a giant leap forward in thermal imaging performance) with dramatic reduction in size and weight. This allows the HECATE camera to operate in zero light by detecting heat images normally invisible to the eye.
