Our journey began in 2015, when Marco Pietropaoli, Audrey Gaymann and Francesco Montomoli developed the software to ease engineers’ design frustrations, reduce trial and error, cut the time taken to make complex components, and optimise parts’ performance. The industry was interested, and the awards kept on coming. So, in 2019, our business was officially born – as a London-based start-up with a team full of knowledge, experience, and passion. TOffeeAM is the acronym for Topology Optimisation For Fluids enginEEring and Additive Manufacturing. Marco is a former EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellow at Imperial College London, where he completed his PhD in Fluid Dynamics.
