Zapp has always been at the top for more than 300 years thanks to technical and intellectual movement. Zapp Materials Engineering GmbH in Ratingen with its two product areas, Tooling Alloys and High Performance Alloys, have been merged into Zapp Precision Metals GmbH effective 01 January 2022. Zapp Group takes over the Sandvik Wire division in Sandviken, Sweden on September 1st. All companies in the Zapp Group are united under Zapp AG. Robert Zapp Werkstofftechnik receives the distribution rights for the powder metallurgical high-performance material series CPM®. Robert Zapp receives exclusive distribution rights for Krupp tooling steel. Hermann Zapp buys a hammer mill and starts a business.
