We transform the way gene therapies are manufactured to enable affordable advanced treatments for all. Our microfluidics-based cell engineering platform can be adapted universally to enable low-cost, high-yield manufacturing of gene therapies at scale. CellFE has developed a scalable, high throughput microfluidic device for the efficient delivery of gene-editing molecules into cells. CellFE’s technology enables the cGMP manufacturing of cell therapies in a fundamentally different way to substantially increase product yield and quality. An innovative multiplexed chip design makes it possible to transition from an R&D, multi-well plate format to clinical scale. Unlike traditional methods, product quality does not change with scale. Because our delivery process takes advantage of inherent biomechanical properties of cells to generate active transport, large payloads can be delivered into a broad range of cell types. Combined with gentle processing, this enables new manufacturing modalities for the complex genetic edits that cutting-edge therapies demand.
