Brandfire help some of the most vulnerable businesses, charities and social enterprises across the West of Scotland protect and respond to the evolving cyber security threat. We’ve learned a great from 25 years in the fields of cybersecurity and data protection – over fifteen of which has been spent consulting, training, developing and auditing. We understand the threats – because we’ve been on the receiving end of many of them. It’s lead us to understand the flaws in many of the conventional approaches by vendors and managed services providers who all seem to claim they’ve somehow ‘solved’ cyber security. Our approach is fast and pragmatic. We don’t try any solve the world’s security challenges – instead we make sure organisations are fit to operate in today’s cyber world (we call that resilience). What emerges from this exercise is a focus on the challenges and a clear vision to how your cyber defences must operate. Underpinning all of this is a comprehensive training and education programme designed to address businesses throughout their cyber-security life cycle. Our training is free – and always has been – because we understand the critical difference it makes to the outcome of any programme.
