Nanosniff’s focus has been on indigenously developing & commercializing, MicroSensors & Instrumentation that have applications in Sensing Chemicals (particularly Explosives) & BioChemicals (particularly Cardiac Markers). NanoSniff specializes in bridging the gap between cutting edge research in Nanotechnology and sustainable device manufacturing through agile microfabrication process scale-up, increasing device yield and reliability, reducing manufacturing costs and making devices commercially viable and market ready. NanoSniff Technologies is a MEMS Fabrication and Product R&D organization incubated at Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. NanoSniff is a commercial spin-off from the Center of Excellence in Nanoelectronics (CEN) at IIT Bombay and was formed to productize various technologies developed as a part of research work conducted at CEN. NanoSniff is the first Indian company to successfully commercialize to microcantilever and microheater sensor technologies and sell these devices off-the-shelf. We are using Omnicant and Microcantilevers for research and education purpose at our institute.
