Explogen is a contract research company working in the fields of synthetic biology and metabolic engineering of microorganisms, genomics, and bioinformatics. The keystone of our services is ability to clone, stably maintain and manipulate large DNA fragments (up to 120 kbp) with high efficiency. Explogen offers strain engineering services using recombination-based approaches that comply with GMO policies. Explogen provides competitive prices for genome sequencing and bioinformatics services based on first-line technologies. Explogen is working on building an antibiotics producers strain collection and a pool of cloned natural products biosynthetic gene clusters. We are experts in the synthetic biology of microorganisms based in Lviv, Ukraine. Explogen brought back to Ukraine some of the best professionals in fields of synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, genomics, and bioinformatics of bacteria and yeast in order to build the highly capable team of scientists. Using in-house developed tools, we are able to clone large DNA fragments either by cosmid library clone’s re-assembly (up to 120 kbp) or by direct cloning from the chromosome (up to 90 kbp).
