A former British Army officer commissioned into the 7th Duke of Edinburgh’s Own Gurkha Rifles, Iaan subsequently saw active service as an officer in HM the Sultan of Oman’s Armed Forces both during the war in Dhofar in the 1970s and afterwards in Oman. First commissioned into Britain’s Royal Air Force Regiment, Nicholas later served on secondment to HM the Sultan of Oman’s Army on operations against communist insurgents in Dhofar in the 1970s. Jo is a senior HR professional with strong strategic and operational experience in HR and People management (CIPD qualified).
