BATTERY-POWERED TRANSFER CART FOR STAINLESS TANKER MANUFACTURING LINE Customer Need: Prevent Crane Collisions and Ensure Work Safety Tırsan Trailer was producing stainless tankers for transporting fuel and chemicals on their tanker production line. The operations involving cranes were causing collisions due to the need for cranes to come in different directions on the same platform, leading to conflicts and even stops between the cranes, jeopardizing work safety. Project Challenges: Crane Collisions and Work Safety The main challenge in this project was to prevent crane collisions and ensure work safety. Transferring operations performed with cranes to the ground would provide a safer solution compared to aerial transportation. Additionally, it was necessary to rotate the vehicle entering the X-ray cabin after production. Our Solution: Battery-Powered Transfer Cart and Rotator System At Fada Engineering, we developed a special solution tailored to our customer's needs. We installed a Rotator system on the battery-powered transfer cart to be used in place of the cranes. This way, the transfer cart could perform both the transportation and tanker rotation operations. This solution would prevent crane collisions and increase work safety. Project Outcome: Increased Work Safety and Efficiency The battery-powered transfer cart and Rotator system we developed eliminated the crane collision problem and ensured work safety for our customer. Additionally, it became possible for the vehicle entering the X-ray cabin to rotate the tanker during the process. This solution, which operates on an average slope of 3%, has made our customer's production processes more efficient. At Fada Engineering, we will continue to offer our customers the most suitable solutions. Follow us on our social media accounts.
